Oven Grilled Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese

This super easy dish of asparagus is sure to guarantee thumbs up from your family members.

Ingredients ( Serves 4 as a side dish)

A bunch of asparagus, hard stalks removed

3 tbsps olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1.5 tbsps grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt & Pepper to season

Lemon Juice

Method

Preheat oven to 425 deg F or 220 deg C

Trim the stalks off the asparagus and wash.

Place the asparagus tips in a bowl.

Sprinkle salt & pepper and toss in the minced garlic. Give it a shake to coat all the asparagus tips.

Spray cooking spray onto a baking tray and place the prepared asparagus in a single layer.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the asparagus.

Bake in the preheated oven or 12 -15 minutes until tender.

Squeeze lemon juice over the asparagus and serve while it is still warm.



Note: To know where to break off the asparagus, grab the tip at either end and bend until it snaps. It will naturally snap where it start to gets tough.
