Feeling gassy lately? It could have been the food you have been eating. Based on an article in Women's Health Mag, the healthy foods which we consume are packed with fibre but that fibre could leave you feeling bloated and gassy. Fret not, there are a number of foods that help to fight gas. Munch on them and slowly you should see some of your gases clearing out ( I wouldn't want to be standing next to you though!).
1) Eggs - they are very gentle on the stomach and the protein in them help soothe a gassy stomach. Have it scrambled or whichever way you like. If you are out, it's best to get poached eggs or hard boiled eggs.
2) Baked Potato - these are very soothing because they are very easy to digest. Hv them with mild salsa, vegan sour cream or hummus.
3) Water Crackers - these are very gentle and help soothe a gurgly stomach they basically don't have anything in them. Opt for the plain kind only as the extra spices will upset your stomach even more.
